High Season Coming UP

Costa Rica is one of those top destinations that most people discover after a few years of going to other places (Mexico, Europe, Hawaii) and then getting bored of the same. If you are one of those that has finally discovered this "new country" we want to welcome you to the "I have been to Rica" club.

One of the things that you need to know before you go to Costa Rica is that there are "green seasons" and there are "high seasons". The green season is called green because the vegetation stays very green. If you haven't figure it out by now, yes, it stays green because it rains everyday and for several hours.  So if you are planning to go to Rica in the middle of September, you might be disappointed if you were looking for sun, open skies and 2 mile visibility. Nonetheless if you are in search for the "rainforest" adventure, this is the best time of the year to visit.

The high season, starts at the beggining of December and lasts until March. One thing to know is that travel agencies and tourism operators raise their rates around 20% during this high season.

So remember: green seasons equals vegetation and high season equals higher rates... pretty easy hum? Until next time... have fun in your adventures in Costa Rica. And please don't hesitate to visit Costa Rica Hotels frequently.
