Gibson told channel 13 that he was exploring the opportunities of setting his film business in Costa Rica.

The director of the award-winning movie "The Passion of the Christ" said: "I like its people a lot and they have very good coffee." The potential of a film company in Costa Rica could bring extra attention to the tourism of the country and perhaps bring more benefits to the commerce of the 4 million habitant nation.

This is not the first time that Gibson has visited the country, in July, he met with the current president Oscar Arias Sanchez to discuss donations for Costa Rican Indigenous Tribes.
